Jury of ICM Competition 2024/2025
The firmly established international reputation of our International Chamber Music Competition derives principally from the prestige of our jury members and their absolute transparency in judging the contestants, a task which is particularly demanding, given the very large number of competitors. The dedication and commitment of both our judges and contestants is what makes our competition a significant event in the world of music, which attracts considerable attention from the public throughout the various eliminatory rounds, held in the concert halls of the Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo, and particularly for the Winners’ Concert.
The Jury for the 2024/25 competition consist of internationally renowned musicians: Lukas Hagen (Austria), violin; Wen-Sinn Yang (Suisse), cello; Claus Christian Schuster (Austria), piano; Gérard Caussè (France), viola; Cristo Barrios Reyes (Spain), clarinet; Francesco Pennarola (Italy), piano, Director of Conservatorio in Turin.
AWARDS
Apart from the money prizes awarded by the eminent jury, there is also an award decided by the audience, as well as a prize for an audience member.
HOW TO ENTER
The elimination rounds and the finals offer the general public the opportunity to hear live performances from some of the most talented young musicians on the international music scene.
ROLL OF HONOUR
Since 1994 some of the best young musicians on the international music scene have performed in the competition, before our prestigious jury.
